Term 4 2020 featured a virtual field trip all about sustainable and safe transport choices. This online resource supports student inquiry projects across the curriculum.
What: Virtual field trip online hosted by LEARNZ
Everyday transport choices are expanding for many people in Aotearoa. Students walk or bike to school while some take the bus or train. Electric bikes are used for commuting, while electric scooters give people an alternative to short journeys in cars. All these choices reduce traffic congestion and pollution.
During Road Safety Week, meet people who are most involved with roads and getting around on a day-to-day basis to find more about the latest innovations.
This trip fits well with big ideas such as: design thinking, future focus, personal health and well-being, perspectives, transport, technological change and innovation.
Everything is on the LEARNZ website.
