Request for Registrations of Interest - Digital Education Design services

November 23 2016. The NZ Transport Agency is looking for expertise in digital educational design to help us enhance and develop our new programme for young people going through the process of learning to drive and getting a licence:

Drive programme.Launched in June this year, Drive is a brand new programme which we have designed to change the way young people prepare for their licence tests and their driving careers. The programme was founded on a culture of collaboration, creativity and innovation. We have a licence to try new things and aspire to be world-leading in driver education. You have a chance to shape the way the programme evolves.

The educational designer will help us ensure that the Drive programme meets the needs of our target audience, supports the development of deep, authentic learning and helps young people achieve the programme's learning outcomes. Drive is about more than just knowing the rules and learning how to handle a car.  We have designed Drive to reflect current good practice in road safety education. It emphasises the reciprocal rights and shared responsibility for safety that all road users have.

We are looking for experienced educators with a relevant tertiary education qualification and expertise in creating digital educational tools to act in a consultancy capacity.  You will need to work collaboratively with our team of employees, contractors and suppliers and provide leadership in evidence-based learning for the digital environment. This opportunity is open to both individuals and organisations.

We have built a team of skilled and committed people who are motivated by the challenges and opportunities of working on the Drive programme.  We have built a culture of collaboration so that our diverse range of skills and experience can produce the best result for our young people.  We hope you'll want to join us.
