November 2014. Some of the pamphlets used by schools to communicate with families and whānau are available in hard copy. Here’s how to order.
Some Transport Agency publications are available in hard copy and can be ordered by schools via the agency’s website.

A whānau and caregivers guide to safer journeys for children.
This leaflet is packed with tips on what to do to help your child understand what to do in a range of travel settings. These include walking near urban and rural roads, cycling, helmet safety, kerb drill, going by car, rail safety, and taking the bus.
This guide for parents, caregivers and teachers gives information on how to correctly install child restraints for cars and other vehicles. Approved child restraints are mandatory for all children up to their seventh birthday. Hard copies of this guide are available in English, Māori, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Samoan and Tongan. Posters are also available for download as PDF.
