Build your own bike rack

Instructions for making a 'ReCycle Rack' for bikes and scooters, using old car tyres and timber.

This rack is suitable for schools.

Created by Wellington designer Richard Hovey, the first prototype was assembled with help from Kahurangi School students. Testing was carried out in several schools before he finalised the design.
