Traffic Calming in the Waikato
This community art created by Woodstock and St Joseph’s School has been installed as part of our traffic calming and safety improvement works in the Fairfield area .
This amazing piece of art work reflects the six bridges crossing the Waikato River in Hamilton, matched to three themes and events the city is renowned for. The six themes and events were: ITM400 V8 Supercars race; Balloons Over Waikato; the red, yellow and black colours made famous by the Waikato rugby team; and the HamiltON branding.
